Terms of Service
Last updated September 13, 2026.
SlowDelve is a small, independently-run beta. These terms are meant to be readable, not a wall of boilerplate — by using SlowDelve you’re agreeing to them.
The beta
The product is provided “as is,” while it’s being built. Features will change, break, or disappear; we don’t promise uptime, that a game will never be lost to a bug, or that the AI Dungeon Master will always be available — it depends on third-party language-model providers that occasionally rate-limit or go down. We do keep the event log every game is built from, and treat losing your story as a real failure to fix, not a shrug.
Who can use it
You need to be at least 13 to create an account. If your table plays with younger players in the room, that’s a family/group decision like any tabletop game — the account itself has to belong to someone 13 or older.
Your account
You’re responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your credentials to yourself. Tell us if you think someone else has access to it.
Your characters and stories
What you write — characters, narration, actions — is yours. Using SlowDelve means giving us the license to store it, process it (including sending it to an AI Dungeon Master when you’ve opted into one), and display it back to you and the people in your game, for as long as your account exists. That’s it — we don’t claim ownership of it and we don’t use it for anything else.
Acceptable use
Don’t use SlowDelve to create or share content that’s illegal, sexualizes a minor, or endangers a real person, and don’t try to manipulate, jailbreak, or abuse the AI Dungeon Master or its safety systems. Player actions and AI narration pass through an automated moderation screen for exactly this; a violation can get content blocked and, for a pattern of it, an account suspended without a refund of any paid feature. This isn’t a general content-policing effort — ordinary dark or mature fiction that D&D itself allows for is fine; it’s aimed at the categories above.
Also don’t script or automate account creation to get around usage limits, or attempt to disrupt the service for other players.
Fifth-edition compatibility
SlowDelve runs on fifth-edition-compatible rules from the System Reference Document 5.1, used under its Creative Commons license (see SRD & licensing). It is an independent work and isn’t affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored, or approved by Wizards of the Coast.
Ending your account
You can stop using SlowDelve at any time, and can ask us to delete your account and data — see the Privacy Policy. We can suspend or remove an account that violates the acceptable-use section above.
No warranty, limited liability
SlowDelve is offered without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the extent the law allows it, we’re not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of it — including a lost game. We’re a small beta project, not an insurer of your campaign.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product changes; we’ll update the date at the top when we do. Continuing to use SlowDelve after a change means you accept the new terms.
